The Usage of Music in Teaching Elemtary Studies, Natural Science and National History

Abstract:

Práce zpracovává učivo prvouky, přírodovědy a vlastivědy za pomoci hudebních prvků. Teoretická část nastiňuje charakteristiku žáků mladšího školního věku, přibližuje základní hudební pojmy i obsah vzdělávací oblasti Člověk a jeho svět. Na základě fungování mozku při reakci na hudební podměty demonstruje výhody využívání hudebních prvků při výuce ostatních předmětů. V závěru také vyzdvihuje význam pohádky pro dětský věk. Praktická část se zaměřuje na témata: rodina (členové rodiny, vztahy mezi nimi); roční období (základní charakteristika ročních období, typické aktivity v obdobích); říše živočišná (obratlovci, bezobratlí, třídy obratlovců savci, plazi, ptáci, ryby, obojživelníci); Karel IV.; Marie Terezie a Josef II.; státní svátky. Výsledky mohou sloužit, jako odlehčující aktivita v tradiční školské výuce. Práce obsahuje autorský soubor motivačních pohádek, tematických říkadel, písní a je obohacena o originální obrazový materiál. Je koncipována tak, aby mohla být využita i ve formě metodických listů přímo ve výuce.

Abstract:

The thesis concerns subject matters of Teaching Elementary Studies, Biology and National History and National Science with assistance of using musical elements. Theoretical part of thesis outlines characteristic of pupils of lower school age and it approaches basic musical terms and also summary of educational area Human and his world. On the basis of functioning of brain in reaction with musical impuls the thesis demonstrates advantages of using musical elements during teaching othes subjects.In conclusion it also emphasizes an influence of fairy tale for childhood. Practical part of thesis is focused on themes: family (members of family and relationships between them); seasons (basic characteristic of seasons, typical activities in seasons); animal world (vertebrate, invertebrates, class of vertebrates mammals, reptiles, birds, fish, amphibians); Karel IV.; Marie Terezie and Josef II.; public holidays. The results could serve as relaxing activity in traditional schooling. The thesis includes authorial collection of motivational fairy tales, thematic rhymes, songs and it is enriched with original pictorial material. The thesis is concipied to be used directly in teaching in form of methodical sheets.
