Organizational Structure of the McDonalds Restaurant

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá organizační strukturou restaurace rychlého občerstvení řetězce McDonald's. Nejprve v teoretické části definuje základní atributy organizování a popisuje jednotlivé typy organizačních struktur. Podává informace o způsobech vzdělávání zaměstnanců a zároveň se věnuje popisu trhu rychlého občerstvení obecně a konkrétně v České republice. Analytická část navazuje na teoretickou a prezentuje již strukturu restaurace zmíněného řetězce. Popisuje rozdíly náplně práce od hierarchicky nejnižších pozic až po ty manažerské včetně jejich různorodých specializací. Seznamuje s prací na stanovištích restaurace, kde pracují zaměstnanci bez ohledu na jejich pracovní zařazení v hierarchii restaurace. Je uzavřena rozmanitými způsoby tréninku zaměstnanců společnosti včetně jejich plánu školení. Návrhová část v závěru bakalářské práce na základě získaných poznatků navrhuje, jakým způsobem lze zdokonalit organizační strukturu restaurací McDonald's a jak informovat o prestiži práce u této společnosti. Oba návrhy těsně souvisí s cílem bakalářské práce. Následuje rešerše všech poznatků bakalářské práce a souvisejícího přínosu pro společnost.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the organizational structure of the McDonald's fast food restaurant. First, the theoretical part defines the basic attributes of organization and describes the various types of organizational structures. It provides information on ways of educating employees and also describes the fast food market in general and in the Czech Republic. The analytical part follows the theoretical and presents the structure of the restaurant. It describes the differences in the scope of work from the hierarchically lowest positions to the managerial ones, including their various specializations. Subsequently, the thesis introduces the work at the restaurants stations, where employees work regardless of their job classification in the restaurant hierarchy. Part is closed by various ways of training the company's employees, including their training plan. At the end the bachelor's thesis makes suggestions, on the basis of the acquired knowledge, how the organizational structure of McDonald's restaurants can be improved and how to inform about the prestige of work at this company. Both proposals are closely related to the goal of the bachelor thesis. This is followed by a search of all the findings of the bachelor's thesis and the related benefits for the business.
