The last years. The issue of the end of the Jews of Ivančice and Jewish community during the totalitarian regimes
Abstract:
Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na Židy v Ivančicích v období dvou totalitních režimů – nacismu a komunismu. Práce hledá důvody, proč židovská obec zanikla a již neexistuje. Jedním ze stěžejních témat je holocaust, který byl hlavní příčinou zániku. Vývoj po roce 1945 popisuje osud židovských památek a dále je zaměřen na problematiku kolektivní paměti a Židů.
Abstract:
The diploma thesis is focused on the Jews in Ivančice during two totalitarian regimes – Nazism and Communism. The thesis is looking for reasons, why the jewish community was disappeared and not exists. One of the main topics is Holocaust which was a major cause of the end.
