Social worker in the proces of working with people with mental disabilities

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na sociální pracovníky v procesu práce s osobami s mentálním postižením. Cílem je vymezení a identifikace rolí a kompetencí sociálního pracovníka při práci s osobami s mentálním postižením optikou samotných pracovníků, organizace, legislativy a dalších ovlivňujících faktorů jako podkladu pro vymezení pro zvýšení efektivity práce v organizaci. Pro splnění cíle jsem realizovala kvalitativní výzkum v podobě polo strukturovaného rozhovoru s pracovnicemi Denního stacionáře v Mostě. Pomocí výzkumu jsem zjišťovala, jaké role a kompetence pracovnice zastávají a jak vnímají svou pracovní pozici. Z výsledku výzkumného šetření vyplývá odlišnost v identifikaci rolí a naplňovaných kompetencích, jelikož každá z pracovnic má jinou pracovní pozici, a tudíž ke své pozici naplňuje určitou roli a vykonává k ní patřičné kompetence. Závěrem práce je vyhodnocení výsledků z realizovaných rozhovorů a na základě vyhodnocení je vytvořen návrh řešení, jak správně využívat roli při práci s klienty s mentálním postižením a efektivně využít veškeré kompetence.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on social workers in the process of working with people with mental disabilities. The aim is to define and identify the roles and competencies of a social worker in working with people with mental disabilities from the perspective of the employees themselves, the organization, legislation and other influencing factors as a basis for defining to increase the effectiveness of work in the organization. To meet the goal, I carried out a qualitative research in the form of a semi-structured interview with the staff of the Day Hospital in Most. Through research, I found out what roles and competencies women workers play and how they perceive their job position. The result of the research survey shows a difference in the identification of roles and fulfilled competencies, as each of the workers has a different job position, and therefore fulfills a certain role for her position and exercises the appropriate competencies. The conclusion of the work is the evaluation of the results of the interviews and based on the evaluation, a proposal is made for how to properly use the role in working with clients with mental disabilities and effectively use all competencies.
