Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem jazyka médií, specificky hudebního žurnalismu. Nabízí všeobecné shrnutí a charakteristiku žánru a jeho vývoj od 60. let. Zabývá se jazykovou analýzou hudebních recenzí nejvýznamnějších Anglo-amerických hudebních publikací. Cílem této práce je popsat hlavní jazykové a stylistické znaky hudebních recenzí. This thesis deals with the language of Rock Journalism, specifically, it offers a summative characterization of the genre and its development since the 1960s.
