The Cultural Identity of the Students of Field Social Pedagogy at Thomas Bata University in Zlin

Abstract:

Předmětem pozornosti diplomové práce je problematika kulturní identity u studentů oboru Sociální pedagogika na Univerzitě Tomáše Bati ve Zlíně. Práce se zaměřuje na kulturu, identitu a kulturní identitu, která obsahuje hodnoty, postoje a motivaci. Praktická část objasňuje úroveň kulturní identity studentů na základě dat získaných ze standardizovaného dotazníku HO-PO-MO. S jejich pomocí zjišťujeme hodnotové orientace, životní postoje a úroveň motivačních prostředků, souhrnně rozdíly v úrovni kulturní identity mezi skupinami studentů podle formy studia, ročníku studia a pohlaví.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the issues of the cultural identity in students of the field Social Pedagogy at the Thomas Bata University in Zlin. The thesis focuses on culture, identity and cultural identity, which contains values, attitudes and motivation. The practical part of work clarifies the level of cultural identity of students on the basis of data collected from the standardized questionnaire HO-PO-MO. Through these questionnaires we find out value orientations, life attitudes and the level of motivational means, collectively the differences in the level of cultural identity among groups of students by form of study, year of study and gender.
