Internal control system, its importance for the entity and for the audit

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je vystihnout podstatu vnitřního kontrolního systému, vyzdvihnout účel, který plní uvnitř účetní jednotky a závěry ilustrovat na vnitřních kontrolách cyklu tržeb dvou vybraných firem. Pozornost je věnována nejen významu vnitřního kontrolního systému pro účetní jednotku, ale také jeho vlivu na průběh auditu účetní závěrky.Poznatky z teoretické části práce jsou využity při provádění analýzy vnitřních kontrol cyklu tržeb vybraných firem. Úkolem je vnitřní kontrolní systémy popsat, zhodnotit jejich kvalitu, vzájemně porovnat a případně navrhnout zlepšující opatření.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis aims to capture the essence of the internal control system, highlight the purpose it fulfills within the entity and illustrate the conclusions on the internal controls of the sales cycle of two selected companies. Attention is paid not only to the importance of the internal control system for the entity but also to its impact on the audit of the financial statements.The findings from the theoretical part of the work are used in the analysis of internal controls of the sales cycle of selected companies. The task is to describe the internal control systems, evaluate their quality, compare them and if necessary even propose improvement measures.
