Meeting the individual needs of clients in new sheltered housing

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na první polovinu roku nového chráněného bydlení. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol, první tři jsou teoretické, čtvrtá je praktická. První kapitola je o kombinovaném postižení, vymezuje definice, terminologii a charakterizuje osoby s kombinovaným postižením a jejich potřeby. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na podporu a přístupy k osobám s kombinovaným postižením, na práva těchto osob a podporu jejich osamostatňování. Třetí kapitola se zaměřuje na možnosti bydlení osob s kombinovaným postižením, na transformaci sociálních služeb, formy a trendy bydlení a blíže na chráněné bydlení. V praktické části je zpracováno šest případových studií obyvatel chráněného bydlení, v závěru je uvedena SWOT analýza. Cílem výzkumu bylo analyzovat průběh první poloviny roku nového chráněného bydlení s důrazem na individuální potřeby klientů, zjistit jak zákonní zástupci hodnotí službu chráněného bydlení, jak probíhala adaptace klientů v zařízení a jak vypadá běžný den obyvatele po uplynulé době.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the first half of year of new sheltered housing. The work is divided into four chapters, the first three are theoretical, the fourth is practical. The first chapter is about the combined disability, defines terminology and definitions, charakterizes people with multiple handicaps and their needs. The second chapter focuses on the support and approaches to persons with severe disabilities, the rights of these people and support to becoming independent. The third chapter focuses on the available options for people with multiple disabilities, transformation of social services, forms and trends of housing and closely on the sheltered housing. The practical part contains six case studies of residents of sheltered housing, In the end of thesis is SWOT analysis. The aim of the research was analysing of first half year of the new sheltered housing with an accent on the individual needs of clients, find out how the legal representatives evaluate sheltered housing service, how looked like the adaptation of the clients and how looks a normal day ofresidents in present.
