Bitcoin Analysis From the Perspective of Classical Economic Exchange Rate Theory

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá kryptoměnami z hlediska jejich právní interpretace ve světové ekonomice a problematikou predikce tržního kurzu. První část práce je věnována rozdílům charakteristik bezhotovostních, digitálních a elektronických peněz, srovnáním jurisdikcí ve světě, roztříděním kryptoměn do kategorií a teoretickým předpokladům tokových teorií měnového kurzu. V empirické části jsem se zabývala problematikou fungování tradiční ekonomické teorie kurzu s aplikací na kryptoměnu Bitcoin a tržním oceněním pomocí simulace budoucího vývoje kurzu.

Abstract:

The theme of this bachelor thesis deals with cryptocurrencies from the perspective of their legal interpretation in the economics and with the problem of market rate prediction. The first part is devoted to the differences in the characteristics of cashless, digital and electronic money, comparing jurisdictions in the world, cryptocurrency categorization and theoretical assumptions of exchange rate theories. In the empirical part, I dealt with the issue of the functioning of the traditional economic exchange rate theory with the application to cryptocurrency Bitcoin and market valuation by simulating the future course development.
