Thermal satellite images and their use in polar regions
Abstract:
Povrchová teplota odledněného území byla zjišťována z termálních snímků satelitu Landsat 8, snímače TIRS pro poloostrov Ulu nacházející se v oblasti Antarktického poloostrova. Snímky z termálního pásma B10 byly zpracovány algoritmy pro výpočet povrchové teploty radiative transfer equation, single channel a mono window. Surface temperature of deglaciated area of Ulu Peninsula, located in Antarctic Peninsula region, was derived from thermal images acquired by the satellite Landsat 8, sensor TIRS.
