Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku kompetencí zaměstnanců. Cílem této práce je zhodnocení úrovně kompetencí zaměstnanců společnosti VSP DATA, a. s. na oddělení Procurement Department. Hlavní činnosti pracovníků se týkají plánování nákupu, realizace objednávek a zajišťování dopravy a přepravy. Práce je složena z teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část vysvětluje základní pojmy jako kompetence, interkulturalita, komunikace. Díky globalizaci jsou ve stále více profesích vyžadované interkulturní kompetence. Jejich základem je nejen jazyková vybavenost, ale také tolerování kulturních odlišností obchodních partnerů. Teoretické znalosti aplikuji na společnost VSP DATA, a. s., která se zaměřuje na servisní činnost a podporu zákazníků v ucelené škále servisů reversní logistiky. Protože na oddělení Procurement Department probíhá každodenní interkulturní komunikace mezi zaměstnanci a obchodními partnery z Evropy, Asie a USA, bylo dotazníkové šetření prováděno právě zde. Na závěr vyhodnotím získané výsledky a navrhnu opatření, která by mohla vést ke zlepšení komunikace s obchodními partnery z jiných zemí.

Abstract:

This bachelor’s thesis analyzes competence of employees. The aim of this thesis is evaluate the level of competence of employees VSP DATA, Inc. of the Procurement Department. The main activities of workers relate to procurement planning, realization orders and make a transport. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part explains the basic terms such as competence, inteculturality, communication and culture. The globalization has an effect on requires intercultural competence in more professions. Their basis is not only language skills, but also tolerance a cultural differences of business partners. I applied the theoretical knowledge on the company VSP DATA, Inc., which specializes on the service work and customer assistance in a services of reverse logistics. Because on the Procurement Department be a daily intercultural communication between employees and business partners from Europe, Asia and the USA, I gave a questionnaire survey here. Finally, I will evaluate the results and propose measure that could lead to the improve communication with foreign business partners.
