Diving accidents in the context of pre-hospital and hospital emergency care

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je problematika potápěčských nehod v kontextu přednemocniční a nemocniční neodkladné péče. Zabývá se vybranými nehodami a úrazy, ke kterým může v souvislosti s přístrojovým potápěním v praxi docházet. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část praktickou. V teoretické části je krátce rozebrána historie potápění a výstroj používaná současnými rekreačními a technickými potápěči, dále jsou v práci popsány mechanizmy toho, jak potápění s přístrojem ovlivňuje lidské tělo během pobytu pod vodou z fyziologického a anatomického hlediska. Klíčovou částí je pak popis jednotlivých nehod a úrazů, zejména dekompresní nemoci potápěčů a její terapie v kontextu přednemocniční a nemocniční neodkladné péče v našich podmínkách. V praktické části, jejímž úkolem je porovnat znalosti studentů oboru Zdravotnický záchranář o první pomoci v případě potápěčské nehody a její následné terapie, jsou prezentovány výsledky dotazníkového šetření, které proběhlo mezi studenty oboru Zdravotnický záchranář na vysokých školách a univerzitách v České republice a ve Slovenské republice.

Abstract:

The topic of this Bachelor thesis is the issue of Diving accidents in the context of Pre-hospital and Hospital emergency care. It deals with selected accidents and injuries that can be experienced in connection with SCUBA Diving. The thesis is divided into theoretical part and practical part. In the theoretical part is briefly analyzed the history of diving and equipment used by current recreational and technical divers, and there are described mechanisms of SCUBA Diving effects to the human body during the underwater stay from the physiological and anatomical point of view. The key part is the description of individual accidents and injuries, especially decompression sickness of divers and its therapy in the context of Pre-hospital and Hospital emergency care in our conditions. In the practical part, the aim of which is to compare the knowledge of paramedic students of first aid in the field of diving accident and its follow-up therapy, the results of the questionnaire survey, which were conducted among paramedic students at universities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
