Práce zabývá tématikou regionální identity a skládá ze 4 částí. V první části práce je uveden rozbor problematiky regionální identity a místně zakotveného učení. Druhá část je věnována rozboru kurikulárních dokumentů a učebnic zeměpisu z pohledu místního učení.
