Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku rodičovství osob s nevidomostí. Hlavním cílem této práce je zjistit, jaké zkušenosti mají osoby s nevidomostí s rodičovstvím. Sledované období začíná samotným plánováním počít dítě a je ukončeno dovršením pátého roku dítěte. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou, kterou tvoří první tři kapitoly, a část praktickou, kterou tvoří čtvrtá kapitola. Teoretická část popisuje klasifikaci zrakového postižení, etiologií zrakového postižení a popisuje nejčastější zraková postižení. Zabývá se osobností jedince s nevidomostí, problematikou akceptace zrakového postižení, vzdělání a pracovního uplatnění osob s nevidomostí. Popisuje rodičovství, funkce rodiny a podporu osob se zrakovým postižením ve věci rodičovství. Praktickou část tvoří výzkumné šetření, jehož cílem je zjistit, jaké zkušenosti mají konkrétní jedinci s nevidomostí s rodičovstvím. K dosažení hlavního cíle slouží šest dílčích cílů. Dílčí výzkumné cíle se zabývají hodnocením vlastní připravenost na péči o dítě před jeho narozením, zkušenostmi rodičů s nevidomostí s pracovníky ze zdravotnictví v průběhu těhotenství a při porodu, podporou rodičům s nevidomostí během těhotenství a péče o narozené dítě, ze strany příbuzných a přátel, přínosem sociálních služeb a dalších organizací zaměřených na podporu rodičům s nevidomostí v oblasti rodičovství, a hodnocením vlastních dovednosti ve specifických oblastech rodičovství. Výzkumný vzorek tvoří 6 rodin, respektive šest respondentek.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on the issue of parenting people with blindness. The main aim of this work is to find out what experiences people with blindness have with parenthood. The observed period begins with the planning itself to conceive a child and ends with the completion of the child's fifth year. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part, which consists of the first three chapters, and a practical part, which consists of the fourth chapter. The theoretical part describes the classification of visual impairment, the etiology of visual impairment and describes the most common visual impairments. Next chapter describes the personality of an individual with blindness, the issue of acceptance of visual impairment, education and employment of people with blindness. Next chapter describes parenting, family functions and support for parents with visual impairments. The practical part consists of a research survey, which aims to find out what experiences specific individuals with blindness have with parenthood. There are six smaller parts. The partial research goals deal with the evaluation of the child's readiness to care for a child before birth, the experience of parents with blindness with health care workers during pregnancy and childbirth, support for parents with blindness during pregnancy and care for newborns, relatives and friends, benefits social services and other organizations aimed at supporting parents with blindness in parenthood, and by assessing their own skills in specific areas of parenthood. The research sample consists of 6 families.
