Magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá používáním hyperboly v televizním diskurzu. Prostřednictvím analýzy diskurzu si studie klade za cíl představit různé typy hyperbol v televizním diskurzu se zaměřením na seriál Sex ve městě. Abstract:
The thesis deals with the use of hyperbole in television discourse. Through discourse analysis, the study aims to present the various types of hyperboles in TV discourse, with a focus on the series ”Sex and the City.” The thesis aims to show that hyperbole is a powerful linguistic tool that can challenge social norms, gender roles and comment on other topics.
