Control of agricultural crops against pathogens with a focus on triazole fungicides

Abstract:

Fungicidy slouží především k regulaci nežádoucích hub a plísní v zemědělství, ale také mají své uplatnění ve veterinární a humánní medicíně. Tato práce se zabývá triazolovými fungicidními účinnými látkami, jež jsou řazeny mezi důležité sloučeniny a v České republice poměrně hojně využívány. V rámci práce byly stanoveny tři dílčí cíle. Prvním cílem bylo vypracování literární rešerše, která se zaměřovala na fungicidní ochranu účinných triazolových látek v hospodářsky významných plodinách (obilniny a olejniny). Představení nejvýznamnějších patogenů obilnin a olejnin regulovaných triazolovými fungicidními látkami. V obilninách a olejninách jsou v současné době povoleny účinné látky ze skupiny triazolových fungicidů – tebukonazol, metkonazol, difenokonazol, mefentriflukonazol a prothiokonazol. Navíc do obilnin je možné aplikovat ještě triazolové fungicidní látky – bromukonazol, tritikonazol, tetrakonazol a ipkonazol. Dalšími cíli bylo navržení způsobu vlastního pozorování a vyhodnocení získaných dat. Byly vybrány čtyři zemědělské subjekty ze Středočeského kraje a od nich poskytnuty údaje ohledně aplikace triazolových účinných látek. Bylo zjištěno, že v porostech obilnin došlo k aplikaci pěti účinných látek ze skupiny triazolových fungicidů. Těmito účinnými látkami byly mefentriflukonazol, prothiokonazol, tebukonazol, metkonazol a difenokonazol. Aplikace triazolových fungicidů v obilninách byly cíleny proti fuzariózám, padlí, rzím, septoriové skvrnitosti pšenice, feosferiové skvrnitosti pšenice, síťovité skvrnitosti ječmene a stéblolamu obilnin. V olejninách bylo využito prothiokonazolu, tebukonazolu a metkonazolu. Těmito účinnými triazolovými látkami byly regulovány choroby – bílá hniloba, fomová hniloba brukvovitých, alternariová skvrnitost brukvovitých, pleosporová hnědá skvrnitost máku a padlí máku.

Abstract:

Fungicides are primarily used to regulate unwanted fungi and molds in agriculture, but they also have their applications in veterinary and human medicine. This work focuses on triazole fungicidal active substances, which are classified as important compounds and are relatively widely used in the Czech Republic. The work had three specific objectives. The first objective was to conduct a literature review focusing on the fungicidal control of effective triazole substances in economically significant crops such as cereals and oilseeds. It involved presenting the most significant pathogens of cereals and oilseeds controlled by triazole fungicides. Currently, certain active substances from the group of triazole fungicides, such as tebuconazole, metconazole, difenoconazole, mefentriflucanazole, and prothioconazole, are permitted in cereals and oilseeds. Additionally, cereal crops can also be treated with triazole fungicides such as bromuconazole, triticonazole, tetraconazole, and ipconazole. Other objectives included proposing a method for data collection and evaluating the obtained data. Four agricultural entities from the Central Bohemian Region were selected, and data regarding the application of triazole active substances were provided by these entities. It was found that five effective substances from the group of triazole fungicides were applied in cereal crops. These substances were mefentriflucanazole, prothioconazole, tebuconazole, metconazole, and difenoconazole. The application of triazole fungicides in cereals targeted diseases such as Fusarium disease, powdery mildew, rust, Septoria blotch of wheat, Stagonospora blotch of wheat, net blotch of barley, and foot rot of wheat. In oilseeds, prothioconazole, tebuconazole, and metconazole were utilized to regulate diseases such as white mould of rape, blackleg of rape, crucifer black spot, black spots of poppy, and powdery mildew of poppy.
