Problems of a beginning teacher at the first grade of elementary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce řeší škálu problémů, kterým čelí začínající učitelé (absolventi oboru Učitelství pro 1. stupeň základní školy) při vstupu do profesního života. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit profesní problémy začínajících učitelů na 1. stupni základních škol. V první kapitole teoretické části se zabývám vysvětlením základních pojmů spojených s tématem práce, kde je popsán pojem učitel, příprava na profesi, kompetence učitele, začínající učitel a jeho nejčastější problémy. Následující kapitoly teoretické části jsou zaměřeny na detailnější popis interakcí a činností začínajících učitelů na 1. stupni základní školy. V empirické části, která má charakter kvalitativního výzkumu, je formou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru zjištěno, jak začínající učitelé rekapitulují a nahlížejí na jejich profesní start.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis solves a range of problems faced by beginning teachers (graduates of the field of Teaching for the 1st grade of elementary school) when entering professional life. The aim of the thesis is to find out the professional problems of beginning teachers at the 1st grade of primary schools. In the first chapter of the theoretical part, I deal with the explanation of the basic concepts associated with the topic of the work, where the concept of teacher, preparation for the profession, teacher competence, beginning teacher and his most common problems are described. The following chapters of the theoretical part are focused on a more detailed description of the interactions and activities of beginning teachers at the 1st grade of elementary school. In the empirical part, which has the character of qualitative research, it is determined in the form of a semistructured interview how beginning teachers recapitulate and view their professional start.
