Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce „Vývoj péče o osoby s mentálním postižením v Anglii a role neziskových organizací v tomto odvětví“ je popsat historii lidí s mentálním postižením a určit, které faktory vedly k dnešnímu relativně dobrému stavu. Dále usiluje o to popsat současný systém sociální péče zaměřený na lidi s mentálním postižením, způsob financování a na příkladu ukázat, jak tento systém funguje v praxi. Práce se také zaměřuje na neziskové organizace a charity a jejich role v tomto odvětví.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis „The development of care for people with mental disabilities in England and the role of not-for-profit organizations in this field" is to describe the history of people with learning disabilities and determine which factors led to today's relatively good condition. It aims to describe the current social care system focused on people with learning disabilities, the way of financing and show on examples how the system works in practice. The thesis also focuses on not-for-profit organizations and charities and their role in this field.
