Křížové struktury a kvadruplexy jsou sekundární struktury DNA, které se často vyskytují v promotorech genů. Vznik těchto struktur reguluje průběh různých biologických procesů jako DNA replikace, oprava poškozené DNA, modelování chromatinu a dalších. Cruciforms and quadruplexes are secondary DNA structures, which are often localized in gene promoters. Formation of these structures regulates biological processes such as DNA replication, DNA repair, chromatin modeling and more.
