Cílem této bakalářské práce je porovnat litevskou poemu Metai od básníka a spisovatele Kristijonase Donelaitise s českou verzí, kterou přeložila Hana Jechová a vyšla pod názvem Roční doby. Poema Metai je velmi vzácný a ojedinělý litevský text, překlad Hany Jechové je jediný existující kompletní překlad díla do češtiny. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare Czech translation of the book The Seasons, translated by Hana Jechová with the original text Metai by Lithuanian poet and writer Kristijonas Donelaitis.
