Conception and Structura of Annual Report as an Instrument of Communication

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je poskytnout komplexní podklady pro psaní výroční zprávy a na příkladech upozornit na její možné komunikační aspekty z hlediska potřeb stakeholderů. Hypotézy: Analýzou informací uvedených ve výroční zprávě je možné odhalit budoucí trendy a rizika vývoje podniku. Pro firmu je vždy přínosem zadat tvorbu výroční zprávy profesionální agentuře. Podniky vlastněné osobami a institucemi ze starých členských zemí EU častěji zahrnují informace o CSR do svých výročních zpráv. Nejčastěji zveřejňovanou aktivitou v oblasti CSR ve výročních zprávách jsou informace o aktivitách v environmentálním systému. Diplomová práce obsahuje výsledky provedeného komparativního výzkumu o zveřejňování aktivit v oblasti CSR, vyhodnocení bylo provedeno použitím Mannova-Whitneyho (Wilcoxonova) testu. Není pochyb o tom, že výroční zpráva zpracovaná profesionální agenturou je přínosem. Podniky vlastněné osobami a institucemi ze starých členských zemí EU ve svých výročních zprávách častěji informují o CSR aktivitách. Graficky zpracovaná strukturální analýza vybraných vývojových trendů ekonomických ukazatelů potvrzuje, že z informací uvedených ve výroční zprávě lze odhalit budoucí rizika podniku z pohledu investora.

Abstract:

The thesis aims to provide a comprehensive basis for writing the annual report and to highlight examples of its possible aspects of communication to the needs of stakeholders. Hypotheses:  The company is always beneficial to specify the creation of a professional agency annual reports.  Analysis of the information contained in the Annual Report can reveal future trends and risks of business development.  Businesses owned by persons and institutions of the old EU countries often include reports on CSR.  The most commonly published by activity about CSR in annual reports, information on activities in the environmental system. Diploma thesis also contains results of the comparative research on the disclosure of its CSR activities, evaluation research has been carried out using the Mann-Whitney (Wilcoxon) test. There is no doubt that the Annual report by a professional agency is beneficial. Businesses owned by persons and institutions of the old EU member states in their annual reports more informed about CSR activities. Graphically processed structural analysis of selected economic indicators, trends confirm that the information contained in the Annual Report can reveal the future risk of a company from an investor perspective.
