Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je věnována cestovnímu ruchu v Evropské unii jako odvětví, které se stalo neoddělitelnou složkou hospodářství každé jednotlivé země tohoto sdružení. Cílem práce je prozkoumat vývoj cestovního ruchu v Evropské unii a jeho vliv na národní ekonomiku evropských zemí s bližším zaměřením na tři vybrané destinace, a to Českou republiku, Maďarsko a Chorvatsko. Dílčím cílem práce je zanalyzovat vývoj mezinárodních příjezdů a příjmů z cestovního ruchu v evropských zemích. Práce je rozdělena na tři části: teoretickou, analytickou a návrhovou. První část je zpracovaná metodou rešerše literárních a internetových zdrojů a věnuje se definování cestovního ruchu v EU a pojmů s ním spojených jako třeba schengenský prostor, způsoby financování a organizace cestovního ruchu v Evropské unii, právní regulace CR v rámci zkoumaného evropského sdružení a charakteristické rysy cestovního ruchu v EU. Podklady pro uvádění informací o Evropské unii se staly oficiální internetové stránky EU, Evropského parlamentu a Evropské komise. Druhá část práce, v níž jsou využity metody analýzy, syntézy a komparace, zkoumá vliv cestovního ruchu na vývoj národní ekonomiky evropských zemí na základě ukazatelů podílu CR na HDP a celkové zaměstnanosti. Jako hlavní zdroje pro tuto část posloužily informace z webových stránek UNWTO, Eurostatu a WTTC. Třetí část práce zpracovaná na základě výsledků provedeného průzkumu nabízí možná řešení odhalených problémů v oblasti cestovního ruchu ve vybraných destinacích, jejichž turistický potenciál je zkoumán na základě počtu přenocování, ubytování a ubytovacích jednotek v letech 2005–2016.

Abstract:

This thesis is devoted to tourism in the European Union as an industry that has become an integral part of the economy of each individual country of this association. The aim of this work is to explore the development of tourism in the European Union and its influence on the national economy of European countries with a closer focus on three selected destinations, namely the Czech Republic, Hungary and Croatia. The partial aim of the thesis is to analyze the development of international arrivals and incomes from tourism in European countries. The thesis is divided into three parts: theoretical, analytical and design. The first part elaborated by the method of literature and internet sources research is devoted to the definition of tourism in the EU and the terms related to it, such as the Schengen area, ways of financing and organization of tourism in the European Union, legal regulation of tourism in the European association and the characteristic features of tourism in EU. The official website of the EU, the European Parliament and the European Commission has become the basis for information on the European Union. The second part of the thesis, which uses methods of analysis, synthesis and comparison, examines the influence of tourism on the development of national economies of European countries on the basis of indicators of the share of tourism in GDP and total employment. The main sources for this section were information from the UNWTO, Eurostat and WTTC websites. The third part of the work, based on the results of the survey, offers possible solutions to the problems encountered in tourism in selected destinations, the tourist potential of which is based on the number of overnight stays,accommodation and accommodation units in 2005–2016.
