Business Information Systems and their usage in practice

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou informačních systémů v podnikovém prostředí se zaměřením na implementaci a efekty ERP systémů. Cílem práce je analyzovat procesy zavedení informačního systému (IS) v konkrétní podnikové organizaci a navrhnout opatření pro inovaci. V teoretické části jsou definovány základní pojmy související s informacemi, daty a informačními systémy. Dále je popsána problematika podnikových informačních systémů, jako jsou ERP a CRM systémy, jejich význam a role v organizacích, životní cyklus. Praktická část práce se zaměřuje na konkrétní implementaci ERP systému Helios EASY ve vybrané společnosti. Jsou popsány kroky výběru, implementace tohoto systému, první spuštění a nastavení, včetně analýzy interních procesů. Metodologicky je využito dotazníkového šetření k zhodnocení spokojenosti uživatelů s novým systémem a následnému navržení opatření pro případné zlepšení.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis addresses the issue of information systems in the business environment, focusing on the implementation and effects of ERP systems. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the processes of implementing an information system (IS) in a specific business organization and propose measures for innovation. The theoretical part defines basic concepts related to information, data, and information systems. Furthermore, it describes the issues of enterprise information systems, such as ERP and CRM systems, their significance, roles in organizations, and life cycle. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the specific implementation of the Helios EASY ERP system in a selected company. It describes the steps of selecting and implementing this system, initial launch, configuration, and includes an analysis of internal processes. Methodologically, a questionnaire survey is utilized to evaluate user satisfaction with the new system and subsequently propose measures for potential improvement.
