Wood-decaying macrofungi in non-forest areas of Moravian-Silezian region with regard to the operational safety of trees

Abstract:

Dřevní houby s makroskopickými plodnicemi, takzvané makromycety, jsou ekologicky významnou skupinou, na jejichž diverzitu a prostorovou distribuci na nelesních stanovištích severní Moravy a Slezska a jejich dopad na provozní bezpečnost stromů se tato bakalářská práce zaměřuje. Informace byly získány: 1) vlastním terénním výzkumem vybraných kategorií vegetace na území města Bohumín v letech 2018 a 2019, 2) excerpcí herbářového materiálu z mykologických sbírek Ostravského muzea a Muzea Beskyd ve Frýdku-Místku a 3) rešerší dostupné vědecké a odborné literatury. K nejvýznamnějším houbám z pohledu jejich dopadu na provozní bezpečnost dřevin patří: Armillaria ostoyae, Ganoderma adspersum, Ganoderma applanatum, Ganoderma pfeifferi, Ganoderma resinaceum, Inonotus cuticularis, Inonotus hispidus, Inonotus nidus-pici, Inonotus obliquus a Laetiporus sulphureus.

Abstract:

Wood-decaying fungi with macroscopic fruiting bodies, so-called macromycetes, which are ecologically important group on whose diversity and spatial distribution in non-forest habitats of northern Moravia and Silesia and their impact on operational safety of trees focuses this bachelor thesis. Information was obtained: 1) by own field research of selected categories of vegetation in the territory of the town of Bohumín, running in 2018 and 2019, 2) by excerpting herbal material from mycological collections in the Ostrava Museum and the Beskydy Museum in Frýdek-Místek, and 3) available scientific and special literature search. The most important fungi in terms of their impact on the operational safety of tree species are Armillaria ostoyae, Ganoderma adspersum, Ganoderma applanatum, Ganoderma pfeifferi, Ganoderma resinaceum, Inonotus cuticularis, Inonotus hispidus, Inonotus nidus-pici, Inonotus obliquus and Laetiporus sulphureus.
