Strategic Analysis of a chosen Company

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce pojednává o strategické analýze zemědělského podniku - AGRO Dolní Kralovice, s. r. o. Cílem je zpracovat strategickou analýzu daného podniku, zhodnotit výsledky a na jejich základě navrhnout možná doporučení či případné změny. K naplnění cíle jsou identifikovány silné a slabé stránky, příležitosti a hrozby vybraného podniku. K tomuto účelu práce využívá analytických metod, a to analýzy vnějšího, konkurenčního a vnitřního prostředí. Metodicky práce staví na kvalitativním výzkumu. První část práce zahrnuje teoretické poznatky o oblasti strategického řízení a vybraných strategických analýzách. Druhá část práce je založena na cíli - zpracovat strategickou analýzu, provést externí a interní analýzu a zhodnotit její výsledky. Dále tato práce obsahuje informace o zemědělském odvětví jako takovém, zachycuje jeho postupný vývoj a změny, které nastaly, ať už pozitivní či negativní. Výstupy a výsledná doporučení lze plně využít pro potřeby managementu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with a strategic analysis of the agricultural company AGRO Dolní Kralovice, s.r.o. The aim of the thesis is to process the strategic analysis of the company, evaluate its results and suggest some recommendations or possible changes. Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats are identified in order to fulfil the aim. The thesis uses analytical methods, namely the analysis of external, competitive and internal environment. The methodology of the thesis builds on a qualitative research. The first part includes theoretical knowledge of the strategic management and selected strategic analysis. The second part is based on the aim of the thesis to process the strategic analysis, carry out the external and internal analysis and evaluate their results. The thesis also includes information about the agricultural sector itself, captures its progressive development and positive or negative changes. It is possible to fully use the resulting recommendations for management's needs.
