Diplomová práce si klade za cíl zhodnocení regionálního rozvoje na úrovni okresů České republiky za posledních 15 let. Důraz je kladen na vývoj vybraných socio-ekonomických ukazatelů. The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the regional development at the level of the districts of the Czech Republic over the last 15 years. Emphasis is placed on the development of selected socio-economic indicators. The work first defines the basic terms related to regional development.
