Use of the technical form of application of protection of goods by radio frequency identifiers and their influence on the detention of a person within the detected theft offense and the crime of theft

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá problematikou ochrany zboží s ohledem na možnosti technických prostředků a to především RFID technologie a její vliv na zadržení osoby, která chce tento majetek odcizit či poškodit. Dále pak mapování možností, jak pracovníci soukromé bezpečnostní služby mohou zadržet podezřelou osobu, tak aby se nedopustily případného excesu a protiprávního jednání. Cílem práce je ukázat princip fungování RFID technologie a dalších technických prostředku, které jsou v dnešní době na trhu dostupné. Praktická část práce bude koncipována formou výzkumného šetření, kdy bude využito kvantitativní výzkumné strategie. Autor práce využije k realizaci výzkumného šetření anonymní dotazníkové šetření.

Abstract:

The thesis is used to communicate the issue of goods protection with regard to the capabilities of technical resources, mainly RFID technology and its impact on the detention of a person that wants steal or damage the property. Furthermore, it concerns the mapping of different options of how the staff of the private security services may detain the suspect without committing an unlawful violation of the personal liberty or other law infringement. The aim of this thesis is to demonstrate the principle of how RFID technology functions and the corresponding technical resources that are currently market available. The practical portion will be conceived through the use of a research survey, which will use quantitative investigative strategies. The author of this thesis will be using an anonymous questionnaire for the aforementioned survey.
