Tourism as an Opportunity for Development in Wine Business

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá rolí tursimu v rámci rozvoje vinařského podniku. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. V rámci teoretických východisek je definován pojem agrobyznys, identifikovány jeho podstatné vývojové tendence a vymezení komoditní vertikály vinná réva/víno v České republice. Ve vlastní části je pak popsána historie a vývoj podniku Vinařství U Kapličky, analýza vnitřního a vnějšího marketingového prostředí a dále pak definovány silné a slabé stránky, příležitosti a hrozby se kterými se podnik v současném podnikatelském prostředí setkává. Na závěr je doplněna finanční analýza podniku, hodnotící jeho dosavadní hospodaření na trhu. Výsledkem práce je vyhodnocení, zda se turismus na rozvoji vinařského podniku podílí, a konkrétní doporučení, která by postavení podniku na současném trhu s vínem mohla zlepšit.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the role of tourism within the development of the wine-growing enterprise. The thesis is divided into two parts. Within the first part, theoretical, the concept of agro-business is defined, its essential tendencies and the definition of commodity vertical of grapevine and wine in the Czech Republic are defined. In the second part, the history and development of Vinařství U Kapličky is described. Followed by the analysis of the internal, external and marketing environment. Also, the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats that the company encounters in the current business environment are defined. Finally, a financial analysis of the company is performed, assessing its current market position. The outcome of the work is the evaluation whether tourism is involved in the development of the wine-growing enterprise or not. Second outcome are specific recommendations that could improve the position of the enterprise on the current wine market.
