Analysis of Influence of Communication on Increasing a Firm Efficiency

Abstract:

Diplomová práce analyzuje efektivnost interní komunikace ve vybrané firmě. Na základě zjištěných výsledků podává návrhy a doporučení, které vedou ke zlepšení firemní komunikace. Teoretická část diplomové práce se zabývá obsahem firemní komunikace. Definuje hlavní cíle interní komunikace a jejich vliv na efektivnost firmy. Analyzuje účinnost jednotlivých komunikačních kanálů ve firmě. Další kapitola přináší stručný přehled komunikačních forem. Zvláštní pozornost je zde věnována vnitropodnikové komunikaci pomocí medií a také moderních komunikačních prostředků jakými jsou dnes Internet a Intranet. Poslední kapitola již zcela navazuje na empirickou část, protože se zabývá nejčastějšími chybami interní komunikace. Empirická část přináší výsledky anonymního dotazníkového šetření. Průzkum byl proveden dle standardizovaného dotazníku ve firmě HORKAN KLIMA s.r.o. Výzkumné šetření odhalilo, že komunikace ve firmě probíhá na průměrné úrovni. Ve firmě byly nalezeny tyto komunikační bariery: nedostatečná otevřenost v komunikaci, malá snaha a zájem pochopit svého komunikačního partnera, nedostatečná zpětná vazba a převažující jednosměrná vnitrofiremní komunikace tj. jen směrem od managementu k zaměstnancům.

Abstract:

The diploma work analyses effectiveness of internal communication within the selected company. Based on established results it submits proposals and recommendation leading towards improvement of company communication. The theoretical part deals with the subject matter of communication within the company. It defines the main objectives of internal communication and their impact on the efficiency of the company. It analyses the effectiveness of individual communication channels within the company. The next chapter concerns a brief overview of communication forms. Special attention is paid here to company internal communication with a help of media as well as modern communication means such as the Internet and Intranet. The last chapter fully links up with the empirical part as it deals with the most frequent errors of internal communication. The empirical part brings about results of anonymous questionnaire survey that has been carried out according to standardized questionnaire at the company HORKAN KLIMA L.L.C. The research has revealed that the company communication proceeds at an average level. The following barriers have been found within the company: inadequate open manners, low level effort and interest to understand the communication partner, inefficient feedback and prevailing one-way internal communication, that is only from the management to employees.
