This bachelor thesis aims to analyze verbal humour of Eddie Izzard in his stand-up show Dress to Kill from the point of view of The Incongruity Theory, Superiority Theory, Release Theory and General Theory of Verbal Humour (Attardo, Raskin). Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu verbálního humoru Eddieho Izzarda v jeho stand-up vystoupení Dress to Kill z pohledu teorie inkongruence, superiority, relaxační teorie a Obecné teorie verbálního humoru (Attardo, Raskin). K prozkoumání prostředků, které Izzard využívá k pobavení publika nejčastěji, je zapotřebí nejprve objasnit humor, smích a podstatu stand-up komedie.
