The B.A. thesis called “The Meaning, Importance and Purpose of Punishing Perpetrators. General and Individual Prevention” deals with the importance and purpose of imposing sentences in the Czech Republic. The beginning of the thesis contains the characteristics of basic terms as well as a brief historical discursion.
