Předkládaná diplomová práce se věnuje komentovanému překladu eseje Ilji Doročenkova „Počemu russkije bojalis impressionizma“. Hlavními cíli je vytvořit adekvátní překlad výchozího textu, provést jeho translatologickou analýzu a zvýšit povědomí čtenářů o uměleckém směru impresionismu. This thesis is focused on the annotated translation of Ilya Dorochenkov's essay "Why the Russians Were Afraid of Impressionism". The main aims are to increase readers' understanding of Impressionism, to provide an appropriate translation of the text and to conduct its translatological analysis.
