This thesis is concerned with the genderspecific use of the German language. It examines the terms "gender", "sex" and "grammatical gender" and provides a comparison of different laguages in relation to "grammatical gender". Tato práce užíváním německého jazyka v souvislosti s pohlavím. Zkoumá výrazy „sociální pohlaví“, „biologické pohlaví“ a „rod“ a nabízí porovnání různých jazyků v souvislosti právě s „rodem“. Rovněž pojednáva o postavení žen a stereotypech, což uvádí výraz „politické korektnosti“ a jejích následků.
