Severovýchodní oblast Antarktického poloostrova je z pohledu klimatických podmínek dosud nedostatečně prozkoumaná. Proto bylo na základě měření teploty vzduchu a relativní vlhkosti na ostrově Jamese Rosse za období 2005–2007 charakterizováno teplotní a vlhkostní zvrstvení atmosféry v severní části ostrova. The northeastern area of Antarctic Peninsula is from a climatic conditions perspective not enough understood.
