Didactic project The Postcards from the settlement. The Traditional Roma family expressed by words, body, picture

Abstract:

Diplomová práce si klade za cíl prozkoumat edukační potenciál vybraných pohlednic ze sbírky Muzea romské kultury v Brně a navrhnout didaktický projekt, který by skrze tvůrčí práci se slovem, tělem a obrazem účastníkům přiblížil téma tradiční romské rodiny. Autorka se dále snaží dovést účastníky projektu ke hledání paralel a rozdílů vůči rodině současné české a propojit při realizaci projektu muzeum, školu a rodinu. V první části jsou přiblíženy metodologické aspekty projektu a jeho typologické zařazení v rámci muzejní pedagogiky. Dále diplomová práce obsahuje teoretické poznatky o tradiční romské rodině, životě komunity v osadách a společensko-historickém kontextu usídlování Romů na československém území v meziválečném období. Autorka následně představuje svůj návrh didaktické transformace těchto poznatků v edukační projekt, přičemž využívá především postupů dramatické výchovy a tvůrčího psaní.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis aims at exploring the educational potential of selected postcards in the collection owned by the Museum of Roma culture in Brno and at suggesting a didactic project that would bring the topic of the traditional Roma family closer to the participants , through a creative work using words, the body and pictures. The author also tries to lead the participants of the project to search for parallels and contrasts with the nowaday Czech family and to interconnect museum, school and family. The first part is focused on the methodological aspects of the project and its typology in museum pedagogics. The thesis comprises of theoretical knowledge about the traditional Roma family, the life of Roma community in the settlements and about socio-historical context of Roma settling in the Czechoslovak area during the interwar period. The author concludes with introducing her suggestion for a didactic transformation of the knowledge in an educational project, in which she uses mostly dramatical techniques and the method of creative writing.
