V poslednej dobe môžeme vidieť pokrok v technikách na efektívny odhad póz z obyčajných videí. Preto je opodstatné očakávať nárast dostupnosti pohybových dát. Väčšina výskumu venovaná spracovaniu takýchto dát je cielená na krátke sekvencie pohybov, zvané akcie, prípadne na dlhé toky pohybových dát. Recently, there has been an advance in pose estimation methods which would allow an efficient extraction of human poses from ordinary videos.
