Tato diplomová práce se zabývá využitím alfa-obalů pro aproximaci povrchů a jejich použitím při detekování kolizí. V teoretické části práce jsou uvedeny základní pojmy spojené s alfa-obaly a popsány jejich nejdůležitější vlastnosti. Jednotlivé koncepty týkající se alfa-obalů jsou demonstrovány na příkladech. This thesis is focused on applying alpha-hulls to surface approximation and their applicability for collision detection. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the basic principles relevant to alpha-hulls and their main properties are described.
