Position of the People with Hearing Disabilities in the Labour Market in the Vysočina Region

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku profesního uplatnění osob se sluchovým postižením na trhu práce, konkrétně v kraji Vysočina. Práce sestává ze tří kapitol. První kapitola je věnována stručnému nastínění problematiky sluchového postižení, tedy vymezení sluchového postižení s ohledem na klasifikaci, způsoby komunikace jedinců se sluchovým postižením, protetickou péči, možnosti jejich vzdělávání a profesní přípravy. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na problematiku zaměstnávání osob se zdravotním postižením, konkrétněji pak na problematiku zaměstnávání osob se sluchovým postižením. Zohledňuje organizace pro podporu zaměstnávání osob se sluchovým postižením, jako je například Tichý svět nebo Svaz neslyšících a nedoslýchavých osob v České republice. Zvláštní kapitola je věnována novému projektu Deaf Support, jehož výstupem je mimo jiné portál Neslyším, pracuji!, který poskytuje osobám se sluchovým postižením databázi s nabídkami práce. Třetí kapitola se zabývá postavením osob se sluchovým postižením na trhu práce v kraji Vysočina. Hlavním cílem práce je zjistit, jak osoby se sluchovým postižením vnímají svou pozici na trhu práce, zda vykonávají zaměstnání, které odpovídá jejich profesní kvalifikaci a s jakými problémy se na trhu práce potýkají. Dílčími cíli bakalářské práce jsou zjištění základních demografických údajů účastníků výzkumu, jejich vzdělání nebo preferovaného způsobu komunikace. Z metodologického hlediska se jedná o kvantitativní výzkum, který je realizován formou dotazníku vlastní konstrukce.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis „Position of the People with Hearing Disabilities in the Labour Market in the Vysočina Region“ is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter is focused on the main issue of hearing impairment and its classification. Hereafter, the various options of communication ways of people with hearing disabilities are described. The availability of prosthetic care, possibilities of education and vocational training for thus impaired persons are also discussed in this part. The topic of employment of persons with disabilities in general and the issues of employment focused on the people with hearing impairment with the reference to the supporting organizations are dealt with in the second chapter. For example, the organizations such as “Tichý svět“ or “Svaz neslyšících a nedoslýchavých osob v České republice“ are supporting the people with hearing impairment in finding of employment. A significant part of this chapter is aimed to new project called Deaf Support, which provide among others a portal "Neslyším, pracuji!" referring to a database with job offers. The third chapter is concerned with the status of people with hearing disabilities in the labor market in Vysočina region. The main objective is to find out the issues regarding a perception of the position in the labor market, gaining of an appropriate job corresponding to the vocational qualification and other problems related to the labor market are discussed. The partial objectives of the Bachelor thesis are to find the basic demographic data of the participants of the research, their education ort he preferred method of communication. The research is realised as a quantitative form using the questionnaire which was created for the need of this research.
