Learning styles of secondary school pupils with learning disabilities

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je členěna do 4 hlavních kapitol, tři jsou teoretické a jedna praktická – výzkumná. První kapitola vymezuje teoretická východiska řešené problematiky, druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na faktory, které ovlivňují vzdělávání žáků se specifickými poruchami učení na střední škole, třetí kapitola pojednává o stylech a strategiích učení. Teoretická část diplomové práce byla využita jako základ pro čtvrtou kapitolu, která obsahuje výzkumné šetření. Tato kapitola je praktická, má charakter kvalitativního výzkumu za využití kvantitativní techniky standardizovaného dotazníku LSI (Learning Style Inventory), zjištěná data byla v této kapitole analyzována a interpretována. Cílem diplomové práce je zmapovat styly učení u žáků se specifickými poruchami učení na střední škole, prozkoumat, zda se styly učení liší v závislosti na pohlaví a konkrétní specifické poruše učení, jak ovlivňuje učení prostředí, denní doba a jaké mají žáci sociální potřeby.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is divided into four main chapters, three theoretical and one practical - research. The first chapter defines the theoretical basis of the solved problems; the second chapter focuses on the factors that affect the education of students with specific learning disabilities in high school, the third chapter deals with the learning styles and strategies. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis was used as the basis for the fourth chapter, which contains research. This chapter is practical, it is a qualitative research using quantitative techniques standardized questionnaire LSI (Learning Style Inventory), data was analyzed and interpreted in this chapter. The aim of this thesis was to map the learning styles of pupils with specific learning disabilities in high school, to explore whether learning styles differ depending on gender and specific learning disability; to study how environment, time of day and students social needs affect the learning.
