Teacher's personality in the montessori pedagogy

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá osobnostním profilem učitelů, kteří učí v systému montessori. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části - teoretickou a empirickou. Teoretická část se nejprve zabývá montessori pedagogikou, její koncepcí, hlavními principy a rolí pedagoga v tomto systému. Další kapitola teoretické části je věnována osobnosti pedagoga, typologiím osobnosti a dále také požadavkům kladeným na učitele v montessori třídě. V poslední kapitole teoretické části je pozornost věnována hodnocení v montessori systému, především autoevaluačním metodám učitele, dále také sebehodnocení a sebereflexi. Druhou částí diplomové práce je empirická část. Tvoří ji kvantitativně orientovaný výzkum. Cílem práce bylo vytvoření uceleného osobnostního profilu učitele, který učí ve třídách podle pedagogiky Marie Montessori. Dalším cílem bylo zjistit, zda se učitelé dále vzdělávají, zjištění osobnostních vlastností učitele, znalost autoevaluačních metod a jejich důvody využívání.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the personality profile of teachers who teach in the Montessori system. The thesis is divided into two parts-theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part first deals with Montessori pedagogy, its conception, main principles and the role of the educator in this system. The next chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to the personality of the teacher, personality typologies and the requirements for teachers in the Montessori class. In the last chapter of the theoretical part, attention is paid to the evaluation in the Montessori system, especially the self-evaluation methods of the teacher, as well as self-evaluation and self-reflection. The second part of the thesis is an empirical part. It consists of quantitatively oriented research. The aim of this work was to create a comprehensive profile of a teacher who teaches in classes according to the pedagogy of Marie Montessori. Another aim was to find out whether teachers are continuing to educate themselves.
