Práce si klade za cíl analyzovat román Tayeba Saliha Sezóna migrace na sever (1969) jako postkoloniální přepis. Román je považován za přepis hlavních textů jako je Srdce temnoty Josepha Conrada a Othello Williama Shakespeara. The thesis aims at analyzing Tayeb Salih’s novel Season of Migration to the North (1969) as a postcolonial rewriting. The novel is considered a rewriting of main texts such as Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness and William Shakespeare’s Othello.
