Comparative Study of Income Tax in Czech Republic and Great Britain

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá srovnáním zdaněných příjmů v České republice a Velké Británii. V teoretické části je uvedena charakteristika daní, historie daní obecně. Další součástí je charakteristika daňové soustavy v ČR a VB, kde autorka sepsala základní rozdělení a popis jednotlivých daňových soustav, jejich rozdělení, využití a daňové sazby. Zaměření diplomové práce je na daně z příjmů, kterým je věnovaná celá podkapitola, kde jsou popsány podrobně charakteristiky daně z příjmů i metody výpočtů daňových povinností. Tyto metody se využily v praktické části k výpočtu daňových povinností a daňových zatížení příjmů poplatníků daně, což jsou fyzické osoby, pracující důchodci, osoby samostatně výdělečně činné a právnické osoby. Porovnáním daňové zatíženosti těchto skupin plátců daně z příjmu v obou zemích dospěla autorka z závěru, že Česká republika by mohla využit některých metod zdanění příjmů jako má Velká Británii, a to hlavně u pracujících důchodců a právnických osob.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the comparison of taxed income in the Czech Republic and the UK. In the theoretical part characteristic of taxes, tax functions , breakdown of taxes in general. An integral part of the characteristics of the tax system in the Czech Republic and the UK, where the author wrote a basic description of each division and tax systems , their distribution , utilization and tax rates . The focus of the thesis is the income tax , which is dedicated to the entire sub-chapter , which describes in detail the characteristics of the income tax and the methods of calculating tax obligations. These methods are utilized in the practical part of the calculation of tax liabilities and income tax burdens on tax payers , which are natural persons working pensioners , self-employed persons and legal entities. Comparing the tax workload of these groups of income tax payers in both countries came from the author concludes that the Czech Republic could use some methods of taxation as the United Kingdom , especially for working pensioners and legal persons.
