Telephone Assisted Birth

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou Telefonicky asistovaných porodů. Součástí teoretické části je seznámení s metodickým pokynem při telefonicky asistované první pomoci při porodu, typem porodů v přednemocniční péči, hodnocení stavu novorozence i rodičky. Je zde zahrnuta kardiopulmonální resuscitace dle nejnovějších doporučení Guidelines 2015 a komplikace, se kterými se může operátor setkat. V závěru jsou prezentována zdravotnická operační střediska účastnící se výzkumu, jejich náplň činnosti a metodický pokyn „Telefonicky asistovaný porod“, který využívají. Empirická část zahrnuje metodologii a analýzu dat. V metodologii jsou zahrnuty cíle kvantitativní i kvalitativní části výzkumu. Dále je zde definována charakteristika výzkumného vzorku respondentů, použitá výzkumná metoda i posouzení jednotlivých metodických pokynů. Analýza dosažených výsledků, získaných pomocí axiálního kódování, prezentuje postoje a reakce operátorů k tomuto sporadicky vyskytujícímu se typu tísňové výzvy – k porodu v přednemocniční péči.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with Telephone Assisted Births. The theoretical part introduces methodical instructions in telephone-assisted first aid at birth, types of births in pre-hospital care, assessing the state of newborns and mothers. It also includes cardiopulmonary resuscitation according to the latest recommendations Guidelines 2015, and complications which the operator may encounter. In conclusion, there are presented medical surgical centres participating in the research, their scope of activities and methodological guideline “Telephone Assisted Birth” which they use. The empirical part includes methodology and data analysis. The methodology includes goals of both quantitative and qualitative parts of research. There are also defined characteristics of the research sample of respondents, the employed research method and assessment of various methodical guidelines. The analysis of achieved results, obtained by means of axial coding, presents attitudes and reactions of operators to this sporadically occurring type of emergency calls - to births in pre-hospital care.
