The influence of psychomotor activities to the attention of children at the first level of elementary school.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem vybraných psychomotorických aktivit na pozornost žáků prvního stupně ZŠ, konkrétně žáků třetí třídy. Cílem této diplomové práce je důkladné prostudování náležitého okruhu problémů a ověření působení psychomotorických aktivit na pozornost dětí mladšího školního věku v experimentální skupině. Uvedená práce se skládá ze dvou základních částí. Teoretická část vymezuje základní pojmy této problematiky, k nimž patří pozornost, psychomotorika a další pojmy s nimi související. V rámci výzkumného projektu je realizován výzkum, kde je stanoven základní cíl. Cílem výzkumu je ověření, zda je možné pozitivní ovlivňování pozornosti žáků mladšího školního věku pomocí intervenčního programu obsahujícího psychomotorické aktivity. V metodologii volíme kvantitativní metodu. Pracujeme se standardizovanou testovací metodou. Jedná se o psychologický Test pozornosti d2. Data získaná při testování v experimentální a kontrolní skupině v pretestu i posttestu jsou zpracována pomocí deskriptivní analýzy, ověření normality dat a testů Wilcoxonův párový test a Mann-Whitney U-test. Zjistili jsme, že v experimentální skupině došlo ke statisticky významnému rozdílu mezi pretestem a posttestem oproti kontrolní skupině. Tudíž došlo ke zlepšení koncentrace pozornosti v experimentální skupině po aplikaci psychomotorického intervenčního programu. Pomocí zvolených výzkumných metod jsme došli k závěru, že psychomotorický intervenční program má vliv na zlepšení pozornosti dětí mladšího školního věku v experimentální skupině.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the influence of the intervention program which includes the psychomotor activities to the attention of younger school-age children. The aim of the work is to study the appropriate issues and validate the impact of an intervention program to the attention of the younger school-age children in the experimental group. The thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part describes basic terms such as attention, psychomotorics and other concepts related to them. The research part focuses on the research where the basic objective is set. The aim of the research is a verification of possible positive influence of the intervention program which includes the psychomotor activities to the attention of the younger school-age children. We choose quantitative method in the methodology. We work with a standardized test method. It is a psychological d2 Attention Test. The obtained data from testing in the experimental and control group from the pre-test and post-test are processed using descriptive analysis, verification of data normality and Wilcoxon paired and Mann-Whitney U-tests. We found that in the experimental group there was a statistically significant difference between the pre-test and the post-test versus the control group. Thus, the concentration of attention in the experimental group was improved after the application of the psychomotor intervention program. Using selected research methods, we have come to the conclusion that the psychomotor intervention program has an impact on improving the attention of younger school age children in the experimental group.
