Social responsibility of public universities in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem společenské odpovědnosti vysokých škol. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit míru společenské odpovědnosti veřejných vysokých škol v České republice. Teoretická část práce definuje důležité oblasti konceptu společenské odpovědnosti a zaměřuje se na analýzu současného stavu společenské odpovědnosti přijímané na vysokých školách. V praktické části se práce zaměřuje na zjištění povědomí a přístupu vybraných zájmových skupin k problematice společenské odpovědnosti veřejných vysokých škol. Součástí práce je také návrh postupu pro identifikaci zájmových skupin veřejných vysokých škol v České republice ve vztahu ke společenské odpovědnosti.

Abstract:

The dissertation thesis deals with the topic of social responsibility of universities. The aim of the thesis is to determine the level of social responsibility of public universities in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the thesis defines important areas of the concept of social responsibility and focuses on the analysis of the current state of social responsibility adopted by universities. In the practical part, the thesis focuses on finding out the awareness and attitude of selected interest groups towards the issue of social responsibility of public universities. The thesis also includes a proposal for a procedure for the identification of interest groups of public universities in the Czech Republic in relation to social responsibility.
