The use of methods and techniques of Drama in Education with a focus on the development of readership through texts from reading-book with pupils of the 2nd grade of primary school

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je založena na lekcích podporujících rozvoj čtenářství s využitím metod a technik dramatické výchovy, a to s využitím textů Čítanky nakl. Fraus. Předkládá tak možnosti, výhody či úskalí práce s těmito texty. Lekce jsou zaměřené nejen na procvičování samotné techniky čtení, ale i rozvoj čtenářské gramotnosti a komunikativních kompetencí. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části představuje princip výuky čtení pomocí genetické metody, parametry čtenářské gramotnosti a čtenářské strategie. Dále popisuje psychologické předpoklady žáků druhé třídy a z nich vyplývajících vhodných metod a technik dramatické výchovy. V praktické části si autorka vytyčuje cíle projektu, představuje charakteristiku školy i skupiny a předkládá možnosti práce s čítankou. Následují scénáře lekcí, záznamy z jejich realizace a autorčiny reflexe. V závěru autorka reflektuje projekt jako celek a dosažené cíle.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is based on lessons aiming to develop readership by methods and techniques of drama in education, using texts from a reader-book published by Fraus. It is suggesting possibilities, advantages or difficulties of working with these texts. The lessons are focused not only on exercising the reading technique itself, but also on the development of literacy and communication proficiency. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part introduces the phonics method of teaching reading, the specifications of literacy and strategies of reading comprehension. Furthermore it describes the psychological prerequisites of pupils in the 2nd grade of primary school and correspondingly it describes appropriate methods and techniques of drama in education. In the practical part the author sets the goals of the project, introduces the characteristics of the school and of the group, and presents possibilities of working with a reader-book. It is followed by a scenario of the lessons, records from their implementation and the author's reflection. In conclusion the author reflects on the project in general and on the achieved goals.
