German conjunction „als wenn“ and its equivalents in Czech

Abstract:

In the Bachelor thesis, I will go about german conjuction “als wenn”. At first, in theory, I will focus on definitions, classifications in different publications and then compare them. These knowledges will be compared also with czech classification this conjuction. In the practical part, I will do research of conjuction “als wenn” in parallel corpus InterCorp, where I will look for equivalents in Czech language. Then I will reduce found texts at randomly selected five houndred samles, continue to work. Results will be selected and I will try to formulate conclusions. I will also watch, in the practical part, which of the type sentences occurs there and with wich verbal forms is associated in german even in czech language. Obtained informations, I will be summarized in tables and charts. My hypothesis is, that the most common equvalent this conjuction is “než když” and the most often is associated with a werbal form “Konjunktivu Plusquamperfekt”. Finally We will see, if these hypotheses confirm.

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci se budu zabývat německou spojkou „als wenn“. Nejdříve se budu v teoretické části soustředit na definice, klasifikace v různých publikacích a následně je srovnám. Tyto poznatky porovnám i s českou klasifikací této spojky. V praktické části provedu průzkum spojky „als wenn“ v paralelním korpusu InterCorp, kde budu hledat odpovídající ekvivalenty v češtině. Vyhledané texty zmenším na náhodně vybraný vzorek pětiset příkladů, se kterými budu dále pracovat. Výsledky roztřídím a na základě této analýzy se pokusím zformulovat závěry. V praktické části také budu sledovat, v jakém typu vět se spojka vyskytuje a s jakými slovesnými tvary je spojována jak v německém, tak i v českém jazyce. Získané informace pak zanesu přehledně do tabulek a grafů. Má hypotéza je, že nejčastější ekvivalent k této spojce je „než když“ a nejčastěji je spojována se slovesným tvarem v Konjunktivu Plusquamperfekt. Na závěr průzkumu uvidíme, zda se tyto hypotézy potvrdí.
