Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá tromi filmami Ethana a Joela Coenovcov, a to The Hudsucker Proxy (Záskok), Fargo a O Brother, Where Art Thou?(Braček, kde si?), pričom sa zameriava na identifikáciu zdrojov humoru a vysvetlenie jeho funkcie ako nástroja kritiky spoločnosti. This thesis deals with three films by Ethan and Joel Coen, The Hudsucker Proxy, Fargo and O Brother, Where Art Thou?, with the primary focus on the sources of humour and its function as a tool of social critique.
