Integration of disabled children in Benešov district

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce nazvaná „Integrace dětí se zdravotním postižením naBenešovsku“ se zabývá hodnocením podmínek pro integraci dětí se zdravotnímpostižením na Benešovsku z pozice rodin těchto dětí. Práce obsahuje teoretickévymezení zdravotního postižení, integrace, včetně ucelené rehabilitace jako prostředkuintegrace a sociálních služeb. Na jeho základě je kvalitativním výzkumem zjišťovánazkušenost rodičů se školskými zařízeními, zařízeními pro volný čas a sociálnímislužbami. Výsledkem výzkumu je zjištění, že situace rodin s dítětem se zdravotnímpostižením na Benešovsku není uspokojivá. Rodinám chybí informace, není zde žádnáspeciální škola, jen některé školy běžného typu jsou ochotny vzdělávat žáka sezdravotním postižením, je zde nedostatek sociálních služeb vhodných pro tuto cílovouskupinu. Zlepšení situace by mohlo přinést komunitní plánování, které na Benešovskuprobíhá od roku 2007.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis titled „Integration of disabled children in Benešov district“ isfocused on the evaluation of the handicapped children integration conditions in Benešovdistrict from the point of view of their families. The thesis consists of the theoreticaldefinition of a handicap and an integration including the associated rehabilitation as aninstrument of the integration and social services. Based on this theoretical backgroundthe qualitative research is used to examine the parent´s experience with schools, leisuretime facilities and social services. The research outcome shows that the situation of thefamilies with the disabled children is unsatisfactory. Families are missing information,there is no special school, only a few standard schools are willing to educatehandicapped pupils, there is also lack of the social services suitable for this target group.The community planning, which is running in the Benešov district since 2007, mighbring an improvement of the situation.
