Meal Plan Suggestion for Patients with Diabetes Mellitus, type II.
Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce zpracovává údaje o diabetu mellitu II. typu se zaměřením na speci-fické nutriční potřeby pacientů s tímto onemocněním. Zabývá se charakteristikou onemoc-nění, typy diabetu, příčinami vzniku, způsoby léčby a samostatným popisem slinivky břišní. Dále práce obsahuje nutriční doporučení pro pacienty a srovnávání jídelníčků samotných pacientů se vzorovým jídelníčkem.
Abstract:
The subject of this thesis is diabetes mellitus II. type, especially specific nutritional needs of patients suffering from this disease. It deals with diabetes, types of this disease, causa-tion of inception, means of treatment, and description of pancreas. The thesis than includes recommendations concerning nutrition and compares meal plans of patients with exemplary meal plan.
